Junior Achievement: Ourselves, Grades K-2

This class follows the Junior Achievement curriculum. It is an introduction to personal economics such as understanding needs and wants, earning, saving, and sharing money. Each class will include social and learning games to encourage friendships to bloom.

Students will:

  1. Practice economics by making personal choices.

  2. Understand that people have basic needs and wants and the difference between them.

  3. Learn about ways to earn money.

  4. Understand the importance of saving and having a savings goal.

  5. Understand how to earn money to help others in the community.
